A sense of loss

August 14th marked the 19th anniversary of the passing of my brilliant sister, Jacqui. (Pictured here in 1986)

Many of you left supportive comments on this blog and here. Also, some of you kindly donated something at my "Just Giving" site.

Despite the passage of time, one can never forget.

I am so sorry, Jeremy. It must have been a very difficult day for you. The passing of time does not mean that we forget or that we do not still feel the pain of loss. It does, perhaps, lead to acceptance and to being able to remember the good times. Thinking of you in Sicily.

Nor should one ever forget, you are always loved by her and effected by her energy.
