Curried Goat

Sounds as appetizing as Chicken Yogurt doesn't it. Yuk!

Luckily, I won't have to endure curried goat or any other meat, or turkey whilst on my Trek.

Rift Valley Fever
is a bit rife in Kenya and Tanzania, so I'll be a veggie for a week or so. Or so sayeth Charity Challenge, the trip organizers.

James Higham and Ellee Seymour, together with Teri Tith of Purple Women and Tisha from the Blogosphere have all wished me well for next week. They've also suggested I keep clear of elephants, lions and crocodiles. But, hippos are the worst. Apparently.

Good luck, Jeremy. Had I known you would have to go veggie for a week, I would have been even more impressed by your decision to do this.

Not my choice.

The trek operators have deemed it necessary.

Life's hard!

Vegetables are not food - they are what food eats. Take some oxo cubes, they are easy to carry and mask flavours.

Good luck with the Trek. (watch out for rabbits - they hunt in packs)

I think going veggie is a good idea. I went to Butlins a couple of times and found I preferred a limp lettuce leaf to their other meat based choices on the menu.
