................for the world's first test tube baby, Louise Brown, hits 30 this Friday, July 25th. Oh, and by the way, it's also the birthday of this presenter bloke!

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging is the brand new film from Gurinder Chadha. LSQ TV were in the Square earlier this evening to see the stars. In turned out to be quite a night! By the way, Angus is the cat who stars in the show. At Leicester Square Television we have our own Cat. My brilliant co-presenter Catherine Whale.

Professionally Speaking

You may remember that last year I met up with business speaker and writer Geoff Burch. His biography descibes him as "The most original business guru in the World"!
Soon you'll be able to see Geoff very shortly on BBC TV. He's going to present
an eight part TV series called All Over the Shop. The programme starts on Thursday July 31st at 8.00 pm on BBC2 and continues until the end of September. Given the state of the economy it will be a series very worthwhile watching.

Like any other business, one should always update one's CV. In the case of a presenter, corporate host or radio broadcaster that normally means new photographs, or a voice or video showreel.

How to get Testimonials

If you've done a good job as a corporate host or presenter, then make sure you get people to write and tell you. Testimonials are important in getting you new business opportunities. Here's a couple I received last year in addition to those on the left-hand side of this blog:
