The recent invention of May Day was introduces by a Labour government to appease a bunch of communists. Our Act of Union is far more important.

Dunkirk was a bit of a retreat/defeat. Would much prefer Battle of Britain Day - September 15th.

Fat chance of that whilst we have a left-wing,liberal agenda.

Yes, it should. And what's wrong with a few more bank hols? We've had 3 in the last week or so here - San Giorgio [for the town of Modica], Liberation Day [national] and May 1st [national].
